Daksha's Gourmet Spices Cookbook I is a collection of Daksha's family favourites. Having lived in Africa, Spicy Barbeques were very common. This book has a BBQ section which includes recipes such as Chicken Kabobs and Salmon in Lettuce Leaf. In the Spicy Meat, Poultry and Fish Sections some of the recipes included are Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry and Shrimp Curry.
The Vegetable and Lentil Section has timeless favourites such as Eggplant Potato Curry, Spicy Corn, Black Eye Bean Curry and Mung Daal to name but a few. Daksha also includes easy to make Indian breads, Roti (Chapatti) and Naan. A good seletion of appetizers, Chutneys and desserts are also included.
